McKenzie May has stumbled into what could be the most disastrous move of Big Brother Season 26. After securing the Power of Veto during Saturday's live feeds, her initial plan seemed straightforward: target Angela, the player she wanted out for weeks. But somehow, McKenzie found herself being manipulated into a move that could blow up her game entirely.
It all began when McKenzie, fresh off her sixth competition win, declared she was set to lock the nominations. Angela was supposed to be her target, but that all changed after some sly persuasion from her supposed allies, Chelsea and Cam. In an almost surreal twist, McKenzie is now seriously contemplating using her veto to take Angela off the block and backdoor Leah instead—a move that could very well spell the end of her game.
The most shocking part of this whole situation is McKenzie’s complete obliviousness to the reality in the house. While she believes she’s making power moves, the rest of the house, including Kimo, Rubina, Chelsea, and Cam, have already set their sights on her as the next eviction target. They suspect a double eviction is around the corner, and McKenzie is blissfully unaware that she’s walking straight into a trap.
Chelsea has been working overtime to push McKenzie toward backdooring Leah, despite the fact that Leah poses no real threat to McKenzie’s game. Leah only has Angela as an ally, and if Angela were to leave, Leah would be completely isolated. But Chelsea’s plan is masterful in its simplicity—convince McKenzie to do her dirty work, then turn around and toss McKenzie out during the upcoming double eviction when she can’t compete for Head of Household.
Meanwhile, McKenzie has been gaslit so thoroughly that she can’t even see the truth staring her in the face. Leah and Angela, the two players McKenzie is targeting, are actually her biggest allies in the game. Chelsea, on the other hand, has been manipulating her from day one. Chelsea has even gone so far as to spend the night in the HOH room just to keep Leah away from McKenzie, ensuring that Leah has no chance to warn McKenzie about the real threat: Chelsea herself.
The kicker? McKenzie could blow up Chelsea’s entire game with just one open conversation with Cam. Chelsea’s strategy is built on lies and empty promises to both sides of the house, and if McKenzie wises up, Chelsea’s whole house of cards could come crashing down. But instead, McKenzie seems to be leaning into this catastrophic move, ready to backdoor one of her few real allies in the game.
The upcoming veto meeting is crucial, and as it stands, McKenzie is on the verge of playing right into Chelsea’s hands. If she follows through with the plan to backdoor Leah, McKenzie could very well find herself walking out the door during the double eviction—leaving the rest of the house to fight for the $750,000 grand prize without her.
At this point, all we can say is that Chelsea’s game has been both clever and devious. McKenzie, however, is playing a fool’s game. If she doesn’t wake up soon, she’ll end up like the players before her, blindsided and sent packing with nothing but regret.
