Big Brother 26’s Angela Murray Reveals If She Regrets Bizarre Behavior Toward Matt & Lisa (SPOILERS)

WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS ABOUT BIG BROTHER 26!

Evicted Big Brother 26 houseguest Angela Murray began the season with bizarre bullying behavior towards Matt Hardeman and Lisa Weintraub, and she now revealed that she doesn't regret it. When Angela won the first Big Brother 26 Head of Household (HOH) competition of the season, Matt told her that, if she put him on the chopping block that week, then he'd put her up if he won HOH.

Angela saw this as a threat, and, in a tirade in front of the whole house, she called Matt "Crazy Eyes," and said that his mother would see what a "disrespectful brat" he was. In another incident, Angela mocked Lisa's walk, and called her a twit. Both Matt and Lisa were brought to tears by these interactions with Angela.

In an interview with EW after her elimination in the second half of the double eviction, Angela revealed that she doesn't regret her bizarre behavior towards Matt and Lisa. She said, "Soooo, yes, I had some pretty major issues with Matt and Lisa in the house. Do I regret any of that? To be quite honest with you, no."

Angela explained, "I feel like I stood up for myself, and I could have handled it maybe a little differently and had I had enough sleep and was not under the pressure that I was under and the somewhat duress, I would've maybe handled it a little differently. But standing up to both of them, do I regret? No, I do not."

What Angela Murray’s Lack Of Regrets About Big Brother 26 Means

Angela Might Feel Differently Once She Watches The Show Back

While Angela admitted that she would've handled the situations with Matt and Lisa differently, it's unclear exactly why she felt that she had to stand up to them. Neither one of them did anything on the level that she did as far as bullying was concerned. There's a difference between making a move in the game and attacking someone personally. Hopefully, when Angela watches the show back, she'll realize that what she did was uncalled for.

Angela's lack of regret for bullying Matt and Lisa is disappointing to see. In Big Brother 26, backstabbing and betrayal are part of the game. Calling people "Crazy Eyes" and a twit is not. It was hard to watch Angela, a 50-year-old mother and grandmother, bullying people who were half her age by calling them names and making them cry. It's a shame that she let the challenges of living in the Big Brother 26 house allow her to stoop to that level. All of her fellow houseguests were also subjected to those conditions, but they didn't behave that way.

Throughout Big Brother 26, Angela was one of the most controversial and polarizing houseguests. Many people thought that she was a producer plant because of her previous appearances on CBS shows, including House Calls with Dr. Phil, Let's Make a Deal, and The Price Is Right. In addition, her outrageous antics and constant crying were difficult to watch. However, she did win three competitions (two HOH and one Power of Veto), and she completed a very challenging all-night punishment. If she wants to restore her reputation and be remembered for her gameplay, Angela should publicly apologize to Matt and Lisa.
